What is the Luna?
The Luna play couch is our answer to the trending, super-fun open-ended play with modular play couches for ages 0-99. It's whatever you want it to be: a nook, a castle, a cave or an obstacle course.
It is an 8 piece couch: 1 thick base, 1 cushion base, 2 triangle pillows, 2 square beam pillows, 2 circle pillows.
We specialize in pillow packs in every shape you can dream of and have tons of cover options available to create the ultimate play system. Let your imagination loose!
Great for tots for gross motor play, children for imaginative play and bigger children for lounging about! There are too many ways to play the day away with your Luna play couch.
What does it cost?
It retails for $350 plus taxes, shipped. Special prints cost $375 plus taxes, shipped in Canada. Flat Rates to US can be found below.

The couch weighs 34 lbs with all the pieces.
How are you able to offer so many colours and pillows?
Our Chinese manufacturer is now one of the biggest suppliers of children's foam furniture. This means they are always doing something new for customers all over the world and that we can offer you all the neat designs they produce.
They are so busy that they only take orders months in advance which is we are doing preorders.
What are they made of? Are they safe for my children?
The Luna is essentially as simple as foam and microsuede covers with a few zippers.
The foam:
We use only the safest materials in our play couches. All our foam is CertiPUR-US certified.
We stand strongly behind our foam as being a safe product for our child and yours. The production of foam is clean of any heavy metals and releases low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality. We use no flame retardants in our foam.
The foam itself is a 1.8lb/ft3 open cell polyurethane foam. This is the standard foam used in upholstery of couches and cushions that are made to withstand heavy everyday use.
The covers:
Microsuede fabric is a synthetic fabric with a soft textured feel. It is used often in upholstery due to its durability. It is stain resistant, easy to care for, easy to machine wash and upholds daily use with no stress. We use good quality zippers and have in-built pockets to make sure they don't hurt children during play.
Our Galaxy and Out of This World print are made with Cut Velvet. This is also a soft but strong woven polyester fabric. This does not feel plush like regular Velvet/Velour in case you have allergies.
Zippers on products in these colours are black: Lapis, Maleficent, Petroleum, Out of this World, Galaxy
Zippers on products in these colours are white: Rocky Mountains and Cotton Candy
All other colours have coordinating zippers. Cosmic products may have a bright or deep purple zippers. Zippers on Jaded products may be mint or a matching colour.
Are they waterproof?
How do these compare to the Nugget and other alternatives?
We have been testing foam densities for the last few months to arrive at the just right feeling for a structurally sound play couch that is still comfortable enough to lounge on.
Our foam is:
Firm ~45 ILD for the thick base
Medium-Firm ~33 ILD for the cushion base & circle pillows & square beam pillows
Firm ~40 ILD for the triangles

The Luna has no weight limits (unless you own a pet elephant)!
We can't say how they compare to some of the other awesome play couches we have in Canada (so awesome to see so many cool mamas design their dream couches and colours). If you do or know someone who owns all these brands, we would love to work together with them to give a better comparative review!
Can I cancel my pre-order?
Yes, we accept cancellations within 48 hours of the order placed. All in stock items are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

How long can I keep it compressed in the box?
We suggest to unbox our couches as soon as you receive them. They really don't look great when they are first opened, but within a day they will look a lot more like a play couch. Foam does take almost 2 weeks to fully expand if let alone, but the more it's played with, the faster it will take its final shape. Opening them right away also ensure you can verify that the fabric and stitching is all in place.
Can I wash it?
Absolutely! Wash covers (microsuede or cut velvet) separately with all zippers closed and tucked away in thier pockets on a cold cycle and hang to dry to avoid shrinkage. It's easy peasy! You'll never need to worry about naked foam while you wash as the couches are wrapped in waterproof covers.
Is there a product warranty?
If there are any manufacturing defects with your Luna, pillows or covers we will be happy to refund or replace your product. Please communicate any such defects within the first 14 days of your delivery date to avail the warranty. If the couch is left in the box for over 14 days, it cannot be returned and the warranty will be annulled.
We have a one-year limited warranty. If you experience any issues with the foam or covers in the first year of normal use, please get in touch with us and we will do what we need to make it right.
Where are they manufactured?
We have been working with a few manufacturers in China for our Luna products. We are proud to partner with our suppliers to bring you the Luna because of their transparency with their practices and responsiveness to our many inquiries. We have grown to trust them as partners after months of communication and appreciate the hard work they are putting to make our dream couch a reality!
